Van Loon Technologies does not guarantee HIPAA compliance. We are not “HIPAA certified,” and we do not certify your practice.
HIPAA compliance is the practice’s obligation. It includes policies, workforce training, business associate agreements, and legal advice that are outside a technology project. We implement and maintain technology and cybersecurity controls that support those obligations.
If a control is really a policy or a clinical workflow, we will say that instead of pretending software solved it.
A useful first review
For a clinic, an IT and security review usually covers email and identity, workstations at the front desk and in treatment rooms, backup of scheduling and records systems, wireless, and which vendors already have access.
The outcome is a prioritized list, not a certificate.
